Thanksgiving Day
On Thanksgiving Day, with all the COVID restrictions, Judi and I celebrated the day alone. But, we did have an enjoyable turkey dinner and took time to express thanksgiving to God for His goodness and protection over us this year.

In late November my mother celebrated her 101st birthday. Due to COVID travel restrictions, I was not able to attend. But, I was able to FaceTime with her while my daughter Lisa and sister Fran were there. We were all able to sing Happy Birthday to her together.
The week of November 16-20 I taught a seminar on the Kona campus. The students were couples attending with their children. On November 17th I participated in a ZOOM call to several of the leaders of our UofN campuses and courses in French West Africa. I enjoyed reconnecting with several of my good friends from that region where I worked many years ago.
From November 2-6 I taught a one-week seminar at our ship ministry’s campus down by the ocean in Kona. There were over 40 people involved, separated into four cohorts of 10 people .
