On Thursday January 7 over 350 new students arrived at the Kona University of the Nations campus. The next day was student orientation in the morning and in the evening a student welcome celebrating the 31 nations they came from. That evening Polynesian dances were performed and the flags from all the students’ nations were carried through the Ohana Court with much celebration and excitement.
